How this is measured

Every 5 minutes an automated job calls our production endpoints over the public internet — the same path a customer's request takes — and records whether each one answered correctly. It also reads the error rate of real customer requests over the preceding hour. A component is marked degraded above a 2% error rate and as an outage above 25%.

Daily uptime is the share of expected 5-minute checks that came back healthy. Checks that never ran count against uptime rather than being skipped: the job that writes this page runs inside the systems it measures, so an outage would otherwise leave a gap in the data instead of a mark against the record.

A component shows Not measured when a check could not produce a reading. That is not a claim that it was working.
